More than a thousand words…

The Three Ships

The Nina, the Pinta, the Santa Maria.

Three little ships from Spain,

Sailed over the seas, under skies so blue,

Sailed on through the wind and rain.

So brave was the captain,

So gallant his crew,

Their faith remained steadfast,

Till their goal came in view.

The Nina, the Pinta, the Santa Maria,

Three little ships from Spain,

Inspired the later pioneers

Who settled on hill and plain,

So great was their labor,

Their courage so true,

That our mighty nation

From their striving grew!

Figure I’ll stick with the Columbus theme for illustration purposes. Certainly seems rather apt.

One love,

  1. I got an F on that poem memorization assignment. Proud day for me. :-D Prisoners collecting slaves…hmmmm. Thanks Henry. Nice touch,…”With their striving” :like its not a badge of murder. “They had strife” and who’s country grew? Not theirs…theirs.

    • Henry Jekyll says:

These are the little tidbits of misinformation that are used to dehumanize the original Americans and facilitate the programming of young minds into W.A.S.P. ideology. Despite all the “human rights” and “democracy” rhetoric that’s bandied about in the media, these subgroups are still marginalized and disenfranchised. Great job on the “F” btw, your subconscious took a stand against pollution from a tender age. :)

      • Thanks Henry, for years my genetic elders would say “You should still memorize it.” I would shake my head “No”, and see their nose fly up in the air. There should be a place of refuge for kids with bigoted families. It was never the same for me after that.

  2. Oh Henry.
    Yeah, Just like the author.
